Chancez Cafes
Serving fresh opportunities.
Chancez Cafes are supporting people to gain confidence, experience and skills.
More than great coffee! Chancez Cafes offer life-changing opportunities for people who want to learn job skills.
Chancez Cafes offer NDIS-funded learning pathways. Participating at Chancez can prepare you to get a job in the future or for next-step training. Each cafe is a popular local venue known for great coffee and friendly service. Participants are part of the community.
At Chancez, you could:
- develop confidence
- learn customer service and hospitality skills
- get flexible support that focuses on the things you need to improve
As well as operating several cafes, Chancez offers catering and baking services. So you could learn a range of skills that the hospitality industry needs.
Participants play a big role in running the café and decision-making. Participants take responsibility for daily tasks. Team supervision is shared between participants and Araluen staff. So when it’s time for participants to take the next step on their path towards future employment, they can do so with greater self-confidence and belief in their abilities. Araluen hospitality support staff are always present on site.

We’re proud to be part of this exciting community-driven project! Come by so you can enjoy great coffee in a restored W-Class Tram. The popular new venue is located in Diamond Creek Reserve next to the Diamond Creek Regional Playspace. There are lots of public leisure and sporting facilities close by. The tram cafe is also right next to the Diamond Creek Regional Playspace. The cafe is run at different times by Rotary Volunteers, local community groups and staff Baristas. So Chancez participants now have the opportunity to learn hospitality skills in the cafe on select days (subject to change).
