Araluen holds regular meetings that all members of our community are welcome to attend. Widespread inclusion and involvement helps us deliver the high quality of service that we all want for Araluen’s participants. These meetings are a good opportunity to learn what’s happening, ask questions and give feedback. Family Carers Network
The Family Carers Network is an advisory committee to the Araluen Board. Members channel information between parents/carers and the Board. Attending these meetings gives you the chance to hear about what’s being planned to better support participants and to comment on service delivery issues.

Manager – Service Development
- Ongoing, 0.9-1.0 EFT
- $93,000 pro rata, including superannuation

Araluen has an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic Manager – Service Development to join our team. This position is responsible for growing and developing our highly regarded support. Initially, this position will line manage Primed, our Chancez Cafes, Skills Development, Recreation, Out-of-Hours Support and In-House Support.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Shows thoughtful judgement, common sense and a clear understanding of and commitment to the current focus on the person-centred approach and future innovation and practices
- Holds a Victorian driver’s licence
