Who are Araluen’s members and what is their role?
Araluen’s membership is made up of our participants, past and present families and carers, former staff and former board members and others from the wider community. Together, our members bring a broad, valuable range of experience, skills, and perspectives, and often, a strong and heart-felt personal connection with the organisation. As Araluen continues to evolve in a dynamic and challenging sector, a diverse and actively involved membership can help shape our future.

Membership is by application, including a personal statement indicating the nature of your interest and the expected benefits to both the applicant and Araluen should the application be approved.

| Friday 3rd April 2025 | CLOSED: Good Friday public holiday |
| Monday 6th April 2025 | CLOSED: Easter Monday public holiday |
| Saturday 25th April 2025 | Anzac Day public holiday (no additional weekday holiday) |
| Monday 8th June 2025 | CLOSED: King’s Birthday public holiday |
| September 2026 (date tbc) | Friday before AFL Grand Final (closed if public holiday is confirmed) |
| Tuesday 3rd November 2026 | CLOSED: Melbourne Cup Day |
| Friday 18th December 2025 | Last day for day services in 2026 |
