Turnham House is our newest day service located on the corner of Station Street and Turnham Avenue in Rosanna. Based on our successful Hurstbridge centre, Turnham House seeks to provide people with a base to develop new skills in a community integrated setting.
The bus stops literally on our nature strip and the train is 400 metres away. The Rosanna retail precinct is around the corner. There are opportunities for volunteer roles and paid part time jobs. The library is a short walk and we have negotiated access to their computers and other services.
At Turnham House there will be a focus on literacy and developing life skills that would prepare people to live away from their parents. Programs are based on identifying and building upon the unique strengths of participants.
