The Day Services
The day service is supported from 3 key sites – our beautiful bushland complex in Lower Plenty that provides services to approximately 70 people; our Rosanna campus which is situated close to public transport and supports approximately 50 people and our newest service in Hurstbridge which supports 20 people.
Araluen has a wide and exciting range of programs designed to meet the identified needs of our clients based on their annual person-centred plans. We conduct programs both onsite and increasingly within the general community and aim to help all our people fulfill their aspirations.
The 3 Units that comprise our Day Service are:
- ACLU – Araluen Continuing Learning Unit (Lower Plenty & Hurstbridge)
- Seniors Unit (Lower Plenty)
- Community Options Unit (Lower Plenty & Rosanna)
The Residential Services
The Residential Service supports 15 residents in 3 Community Residential Units in suburbs surrounding our Day Service bases. In addition we operate a congregate care facility for 8 clients on our Lower Plenty site.
The Transport Service
The Araluen Transport Service can be used by clients living within its catchment area to undertake day programs. Taxis and public transport are also available to access the Day Service programs.
