What is ‘Sponsor An Artist’?

Sponsor an Artists is for both community and high-worth individuals, corporations and local business to have the opportunity to support Araluen’s Artists in the form of sponsorship providing Araluen Artists the feeling of value and worth, as well as promoting our Individuals as Artists and not people with disabilities. For Araluen, Sponsor an Artist provides Opportunity. These opportunities include- for Araluen to promote it’s individuals as Artists within local and wider communities; for Araluen individuals to be ‘sponsored’, providing them with finances to purchase better quality materials, tuition and exhibition exposure as well as providing the opportunity for Artists to increase sales of their works.

How it came about?

Sponsor an Artist came about as it has been recognised for a period of time that Art work produced by individuals at Araluen is not only of an excellent quality, but it is valuable and appreciated within wider the Art communities. As Araluen has a focus on providing opportunities for its individuals, Sponsor an Artist is another way of ensuring that Araluen Artists have the same opportunities and exposure to the community that other Artists may have.
