Claudio’s strikingly simple compositions are usually based upon the built environment and how we inhabit it. By stripping down his subject matter to it’s most simple form, Claudio can convey his affinity with his own home and surroundings. His choice of carefully considered, vibrant colour  conveys a sense of home as a place of security and comfort. Also evident is the delight Claudio’s derives when handling paint which he does in a methodical and precise way.
 

Since appearing in his first group exhibition in 2010, Claudio has become one of Araluen’s most popular artists. His work has been reproduced in print for several publications to great effect .
