Claudio is a restless artist whose work is full of visual ambiguity. At a certain distance it appears as one thing. Change view point and it takes on a new look altogether. Meaning is left in doubt and interpretation to the viewer. Boxes float on a misty sea; strange constructions hover in the sky or radiate mysterious energy. The eye is tricked into seeing things as they are not. Claudio works on up to five images at once moving from one to another. He’s never controlled by traditional painting techniques preferring to let expression flow from his own personality. He has developed his own technique of loosely painted texture contrasted with very controlled flat areas. Influences flow from Claudio’s Italian back ground and strong cultural links.

Achievements:
Claudio has exhibited in several group exhibitions and was selected to appear in ADEC’s “ArtAbility Award and Exhibition” in 2009. He was selected for the Connected11 Art Exhibition and Award in 2011.
